Scout Sunday has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 14th at 9am Mass  at St. Mary's.  We will have 7 Wolf Scouts receiving the Light of Christ Award & 3 Bear Scouts receiving the Parvuli Dei Award...100% of our Pack!  Please meet in Marian Hall at 8:40am, in Class A uniform, to line up for procession into Church.  Remember, this is a day to honor ALL Scouts in the Parish..invite any scouts you may know.

JAPEECHEN DISTRICT PINEWOOD DERBY
Feb. 27th, Saturday
8:30am-9:45am  Registration
10:00am -2:00pm    Race                                      
Pittsburgh Mills Mall - Food Court
***The top 2 finishers from each Rank:Webelos, Bear, Wolf and Tiger will compete against the top finishes from other Packs in the district***

HOME DEPOT WORKSHOP:  Sat., Mar. 6th;we will meet at 10am@ the Home Depot in Shoppers Plaza, Route 8 to make rain gages.  FREE!

INDOOR BB/ARCHERY:  Tues., Mar. 23rd; we will meet at the indoor range @ Camp Guyasuta; 7:70-8:30pm;cost is $2 per person.

*All Scouts should be finishing up on thier requirements to advance at the Blue and Gold Banquet.  Please let your den leader know when your scout is ready to advance.  Den leaders, please let Lisa Gannon know the names of Scouts advancing by Friday, March 5th.*

Calling all cake bakers:  The annual cake decorating contest will take place at the Blue & Gold Banquet.  This year's theme is Happy 100th Birthday BSA!  Any Scout related theme will work, use your imagination..remember, everything on the cake MUST be edible!  Please contact Lisa Gannon if your son will be baking a cake.  We would like to have at least 1 cake from each den...don't forget, as beautiful as they are, they will also be our yummy dessert!

Our charter organization is St. Mary's Church.  Scouting has been an integral part of the history of St. Mary's for over 32 years...we strive to build on that history by encouraging each scout to grow morally, mentally, physically and socially while focusing on the 12 core values of scouting.
